Stissing Mountain High School Tara Horst: High School - 518.398.7181 x300 |
Dear Parents,
Issues regarding harassment and bullying on social networking sites, cell phones and instant message programs are becoming more and more prevalent in our schools. Often these issues affect the child's school day and their ability to focus on their learning. I have found that many parents want to help their children, but feel as though they do not know enough about the sites, the issues and the technology.
In the next few months we will be designing and offering evening presentations to parents These events will be designed to inform you on a variety of topics affecting teenagers. In the meantime, I will post information below that I believe you will find informative and helpful.
As always, I look forward to working with you in the best interests of our community and our children.
Tara K. Horst
